Milly is known for classic tailoring in bright colors and prints. This season took the usual, quirky sophistication to a new level with a style aesthetic that screamed ‘geek chic’.Read my full review on EcoTools.com as well as my beauty tips to get the look from the runway.
Partnering with EcoTools during Fashion Week has be so much fun, and one of the best parts is having my hair and makeup done before we shoot each day. I simply loved the fishtail braid my hair stylist did for me! Now if only I could recreate it on my own… ;)

I once read in Harper’s Bazaar that one of the best labels for women to wear in their 20’s and 30’s is Proenza Schouler because of its lighthearted yet classic aesthetic. I would certainly add Adam Lippes to the list! I find myself wearing Adam pieces more and more. Aside from liking his designs, I really appreciate his effort to produce more sustainable fashion by manufacturing part of his collection in the USA and using modal.
I was excited to see Hanneli in the front row. I love her blog for style inspiration! Which blog are you loving for outfit ideas?
Suzanne Rae SS12. This season I proudly partnered with EcoTools to bring you an all access pass to New York Fashion Week. Check out our video coverage of the Suzanne Rae SS12 runway show, plus an interview with the designer, as well as style and beauty tips from yours truly on how to get the look.
Cobalt blue and Kelly green are key colors for SS12, but wearing them now, while the weather is still warm, feels just right too. I’ve also seen a lot of high waisted skirts and shorts on the New York SS12 runways, so this cobalt blue skirt is going to be perfect for next season.

Early fall in New York is so sweet and prime for a stroll through SoHo. My step mom told me that Prada shoes are the most comfortable shoes you can buy, so I remembered that and scooped up these Prada loafers. They have proved her words to be true!

Suzanne Rae has done it again- created a collection that communicates sophistication and ease with a dash of serenity. Described by the designer herself as a line to be worn by cool and confident women around the world, carefree and subtly enhanced makeup was the perfect accoutrement.

I stopped by Beacon’s Closet to pick up a little something and snapped up this awesome sleeveless blazer. It was just what I needed to take my outfit up a notch before heading to Lincoln Center. Special thanks to Mr. Newton for being my photographer for this post. X
