Dear Reader,
It is crazy to realize that I have been writing GretaGuide for three years! I remember my first post and how scared I was to publish it and be ‘out there in the world’. I watched my reader numbers grow in awe and felt the motivation to keep posting knowing you were on the other side listening. I have been afforded so many wonderful opportunities writing this blog, and through the valleys and peaks, I would write it all the same because I really love it.
I am very excited to announce that GretaGuide has been a jumping off point for me, and gave me the foundation to set up the sustainable fashion and awareness project, called FASHIONmeGREEN, almost two years ago when I finished grad school and my dissertation on sustainable fashion.
As many of you know, my commitment to create awareness around eco-fashion and bridge the gap between mainstream fashion and sustainable style is what makes me tick. Now, with the help of additional contributors and a new look, my sustainable fashion project has transformed into the style site I have been envisioning. While GretaGuide  will always have a place in my heart and hosts so many personal points of my own journey towards eco-fashion, I am excited to move my content and energy over to FASHIONmeGREEN full time.
Based on the feedback I’ve received, I hope that you will find FASHIONmeGREEN to be the fashionable eco-living site you have been looking for! As always, please feel free to send your questions and comments in, so that my team and I can be the resource you want us to be. Looking forward to continuing to publish content that helps change the world with style and serving you at FASHIONmeGREEN.com!
Many thanks and much love.

More b-day weekend pictures from my weekend in Boulder. It’s not every day you get to fly a plane! ;)

I received a Slipper Spinner to help me select a new pair of slippers. Such a fun idea!

Many of you may know that I am doing a 21 day cleanse in which I basically eat only cooked vegetables for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These steamed greens from The Kitchen became a breakfast staple.

Loved this dog and she loved me back! Matte Latte from my favorite sip house, Pekoe.

With all the gift guides floating around, I was asked to make one specific for the mommy-to-be. Recently becoming an Auntie (again), I was all for it! Check out my eco-baby list by clicking through the image.

Holy Cow! I used the Household Textile Environmental Impact Calculator to suss out my level of Environmental Damage Unites (EDUs) through my buying, wearing and disposing of fashion in a year. I was shocked to see that sit at the Fashionably Average to Fashionably Underweight mark. I think my conscious habits have gone a little soft…
What about you? Where do you sit?

B-Day weekend in Boulder! Had a lovely staycation at the St Julien Hotel, my favorite hotel in Boulder. The perfect mellow getaway weekend to celebrate my b-day with my boyfriend and three best friends from undergrad. Nothing really can compare to good times with good people.

Last month I shot a Classic Cool video with TheOutnet.com. First off, it was a super fun shoot, and second- I was beyond impressed with their offerings of eco-fashion. They pulled pieces from Edun, Stella McCartney and MADE jewelry for my shoot. :)

Love the look we put together? You can scoop up the goods at the FASHIONmeGREEN shopping page they created just for me on their site.

Cool and Classic can be eco-fabulous!

We all have that person in our lives who has everything they ever wanted or needed. So, when the holidays roll around, what do you get for them? Well, how about getting them something that is really for someone else. The Kiva Gift Cards allow you to gift $25 in the name of your selected gift giver to a micro loan to help woman around the globe build sustainable businesses. Better use than another pair of cashmere socks, eh?
