I am so flattered to be the Beautiful Stranger winner! About a month ago I was introduced to BeautifulStranger.tv and enjoyed the behind the scenes beta on some of my favorite fashion bloggers. All of the lovely faces I had been admiring for so long now had their favorite brands, websites and reasons for starting a blog all listed next to their stylish street-side photo. It is kind of like a little slice of heaven for a fashion blogger to be offered this inside scoop!

My favorite part of this contest was the awareness it brought to so many amazing stylish bloggers out there. I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of my fellow finalists the other night in New York- Qianna Smith and Hillary Bankz- at the Cooper Square Hotel and through our Twitter feeds, emails and blogs posts I felt like I had known them for years already!  

I am truly touched to win this contest, and what spoke to me most is that my win communicates the readiness of the world to embrace and celebrate eco-fashion. Many thanks to everyone for your support, the judges for their heart-felt comments and Beautiful Stranger for the fabulous winner’s package! I look forward to doing a follow up post on my trip to New York Fashion Week. Who knows, maybe we will throw a party and invite all of you!
