An old proverb goes something like this… “Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but doesn’t get you anywhere.”
How many of us fall into worrying though? We worry about our jobs, our friends, our families our futures and relationships. Yes, and worry is the right verb. Thinking about them is something different- and that is where we regain power.
In fact, it is positive thinking that really changes how we see our perceived problems and solutions. Worrying is passive, positively analyzing your difficulty and setting down all the pros and cons of the situation- to thus conjure a plan of action to bring you closer to your goals is assertive and effective.
