During this month where people willingly subject themselves to things that scare them, I find it only appropriate to dig a little deeper and identify what real fear is present in your everyday life, and most importantly how you deal with it.
Do you fear the future? Do you fear the security of your job? Do you fear being hurt? Do you fear failure or success? To be honest, we all have experienced fear- it is part of being human. What I don’t think we realize is how much it actually can impact our movement forward -or, more pointedly how it impedes our movement forward.
It all goes back to the power of thought. If you dwell on that which you fear and run your life in its accordance, you will only attract the thing you fear most. It freezes our efforts to succeed. That is why it is so important to be honest with yourself and ask the hard question, “What do I fear and why?” Then, it is up to you to conquer that fear. It won’t be easy, but luckily as humans, we were also given courage.
