What do fashionistas and environmentalists have in common? Ecouterre. A new site recently launched to bridge the gap between those who are environmentally conscience and still care about their style sense.
All I can say is, genius- and it is about time! I am fully addicted to this site already. A resource for those of us who want to stay up on our style but in a responsible manner. The site acts like a categorized blog that runs daily features on designers and products that are sustain-ably sourced and in vogue. Like I said, an invaluable tool going forward in fashion consumption.
Founded by Jill Fehrenbacher, of Inhabitat, the site launched this week and is set to add value to her already eco-fashion online presence. “I felt it was really time to start a website just dedicated exclusively to eco-fashion,” states Fehrenbacher. Well, she’s done it and the rest of us can reap the benefits- doing our part to contribute to sustainable fashion by using the site as a resource.
