If you’re like me, you are all about the style serving sites that allow you to publish your own pictures and intimate descriptions of your style sense on a public platform.
Weardrobe, lookbook.nu, and others (one that I am not yet allowed to talk about, shhhh…) are all providing ways for us to broadcast our individual styles and share this amazing creativity with one another. Brilliant!
I have been playing with this for the past couple of months and it is really interesting how you become more aware of yourself and your tendencies as you go. Basically, you are the girl in the magazine or on the websites you search for in fashion. And, soon you want to push yourself and how you come across in your photos. I have put together a little posing guide to assist you in this process. ;)

As you get more photos out there, you will notice how your page really pops with various poses. I like the one leg crossing over in the front, or the hands in your pockets, or one hand on your hip and the other hanging by your side… as long you keep mixing it up and playing with your poses, it will really come alive.
One of my favorite sites is Weardrobe where you become a member of an inspiring community and can follow those whose fashion sense you dig- building your online friend base. They even connect you straight to Facebook, so you can share your looks on your wall. If you are a blogger, this is also a great way to drive traffic to your site cause they’d love to add you to their blog roll. :) Finally, each week they have a contest and give away oh so desirable prizes like key seasonal articles of clothing or gift certificates to your favorite sites. Me likey!
