Accept others and yourself. Stop trying to control people and situations. Look for, accept and celebrate the good in them. These were the words delivered to me today and I felt the need to pass them on.
Be careful with judgement too. It is good to exercise discrimination, because there are situations we really do not need to be a part of and people that do not deserve our energy- both to give and take.
As a general rule, it all comes down to how you look at it- is the tint of your glasses negative or positive?
At this very moment I am willing to bet there is at least one area in your life where negative feelings are present. Maybe it is a person at work, or the work environment in general, a project you are involved in, a friendship that is strained, a family complication… Whatever it is, I challenge you right now to shift your gaze and change you sentiment from frustration, disappointment or insecurity to acceptance.
Find the good in them and in yourself and accept what is presently in play.
I have poured so much energy into worrying, analyzing and controlling- today I am taking a new stance and offering only acceptance in whatever form I can find it.
