Mistakes are a curious thing. My mother says, there can be no mistakes so long as you learn from them.  I agree with that. She also says, a mistake truly becomes a mistake when you miss the opportunity to learn and grow from it the first time and therefore repeat it. Yet again, truth resounds.

Here is the other thing, taking all of that into consideration- please remember that you don’t have to be perfect. You are supposed to make mistakes and they are your greatest opportunity to move forward, if you use them.

I often get caught up in this busy life and wanting to do EVERYTHING right and be the PERFECT person- but that is not realistic, nor is it beneficial. Instead, I am looking backwards to identify my mistakes that really have become my best experiences and triumphs and shift my gaze forward in anticipation for what it to come- knowing that “everybody makes mistakes, but I fell alright when I come undone…”
