Day ‘n Night by Greta’s Guide featuring French Connection

Part two of my night to day trends to sport right now! :)

Aside from the sequins, I have also been observing a lot of sheer tops. This trend requires the right basics- which in this case really means a good full coverage bra. You may opt for a tank as well, but I really like the bras that could double as a swimsuit top and therefore leave lots to the imagination.

You can go both ways on this too- either super casual or nice and dressy. I like the loose sheer top paired with jean shorts and flat sandals for hanging out (my middle look). For the working world setting, you can still go sheer- you just have to make sure your accompanying pieces are sturdy and bring the outfit up a notch. For my first look, I choose a highwaisted pencil skirt and fashion forward gladiator heels.

The last look can crossover from work to meeting up with friends for lunch on the weekend. By tucking the sheer top into a sweet pair of structured shorts with a bow detail in the front- the look is what the Brits call, casual smart.
