One of my standby tricks to putting together a fresh and fun outfit I can feel good in, is to pick it out the night before. Can’t quite remember where I got this beta, but it is my foolproof way to a stress-free super cute outfit.

During the day you interact with all kinds of fashion sources- people in your office or that come into your work, observing fashionistas on the street, daily newspaper sections on fashion, fashion blogs… The resources are out there, and if you utilize what you have taken in throughout the day later that night you are more likely to put together a successful fashion forward outfit that is a reflection of what  you appreciated in others and can then wear yourself.

My fallback plan is a daily email I get from Style Caster. They send an email at 8:00am every morning with the weather forecast for your area and a fashiony outfit to accommodate said conditions. It’s like having a personal stylist email you each morning to tell you what to wear- brilliant!
