Fall Trend Now: how to wear over-the-knee boots.

Yesterday I sported my new pair of over-the-knee leather boots. They are awesome! They do to anyone what Chinese straight across eyelash skimming bangs do- make any outfit, any time of day, look totally in vogue.
Here is one way to wear them.
- Start with a short jersey dress- it is important that it is fairly short so that the proportions are right with the boots (say mid to upper thigh).
- You can add a belt that is the same color as your boots (in my case black with black) to coordinate and add a little more detail- just make sure it sits on your hips and not higher up.
- Layer on a jean vest- you can go long or short here.
- Tie the look together with a leather fringe tote- this keeps the feel relaxed and perfect for daytime.
- Add colorful accessories like a multi- patterned statement necklace and some purple sunnies.
Tada! This outfit is a perfect pre-fall blend between summer staples and incorporating a strong piece for fall. Give it a whirl- I had a blast strutting my fall boots around town a bit early. ;)
