It’s 82 degrees and sunny in NYC and this lucky girl is at the pool on the roof at the SoHo House. Quickly becoming one of my favourite places- the ambiance, wait staff and people watching is awesome!

So, here are the fashions I observed from the chicest ladies sporting casual cool summer styles.

Cut-off jean shorts (and I mean short!) with a black see-through 3/4 sleeve blouse- tunic style, flippers and a big floppy hat, finished off with a canvas slouchy tote.

Poolside-cover-up-short white shift dress- belted around the natural waist with a braided brown leather belt (tied off to the side), paired with t-strap sandals and a rope handle hobo. Don’t forget the aviators. ;)

A vintage washed floral dress- breezy and unstructured, with patent red strappy gladiators and a black banded straw fedora- like I said, awesome.

Yet again the women of New York do not disappoint. Can’t wait to see what they pull out of their plentiful closets next!
