In search of innovation and new inspirtation, Hermes, in collaboration with Designboom, has opened its design doors to the public with a contest!

Reinvent a classic Hermes print or feature your own style in a print that can be used on a silk tie. I already have some of you in mind- with your awesome graphic dsigns and winding doodles that creep around your margins.

The first place prize is 3000 euros, plus your original design produced on an Hermes tie. Second place is 2000 euros and third is 1000 euros. 

A little way to make some extra money on the side and showcase your talent. ;) You have until August 1st, 2009 to submit, so get going and check out the details here.
