Selective Twitter Status.

I don’t know how may of you are using Twitter. I do think it is safe to assume (I hope!) that you’re using Facebook. And if you are using both, you have probably linked the two together so that by sending a status update on Twitter it sends the same message to your Facebook wall and can be read in your friends’ status mini-feeds.

If you haven’t done this yet, I am going to save you the step of deleting this function to enable another one that, in my opinion, is better… Selective Twitter Status. It is an application created to help you decide what you want sent to your FB wall or just kept within your Twitter feed.

Log into your FB page and within the search box in the upper right hand corner type: Selective Twitter Status. It will link you to the application and you simply select “add application”. If you have the other Twitter link already set up you will need to delete it first.

Complete the process and then when you want to Twitter from your mobile or Tweetdeck you place a #fb at the end of your message and it send it to Facebook. If you don’t it will keep your tweet just to Twitter.

Ahhh, I love smart people who build these programs and make my life easier. :) Enjoy!
