The healing power of ESPA.

I have to say, the Dead Sea did not agree with my skin and I have spent the past week coming at it with every purifying moisturizer, deep cleaning mask and antibacterial cleanser I could find- and to no avail.

Turns out, all I really needed was a trip to the Mandarin Oriental in New York where they carry the ESPA line.  New to me, my esthetician explained that ESPA is a line created for and carried in spas around the world. Dedicated to combining ancient traditions with modern technology the line is a fusion of nature and science.

To calm and treat my broken and irritated skin she used a balancing face treatment oil. That’s right- oil on already oily and aggravated skin!  I tried not to freak out.  Actually, I remembered back somewhere in my mind that essential oils are truly effective in treating skin conditions and so I didn’t cringe when she slathered it on.

Of course, I had the accompanying extractions with a tea tree antibacterial pass afterwards, followed by an ESPA moisturizer.  And then I saw my face and now I’m a believer! By the end of the day my face was already smoother, less red and blotchy and on its way to being rebalanced. The ESPA line has fabulous healing powers- not to mention Patricia, my esthetician (if you are in New York I fully recommend her).

So, if you find yourself in a similar situation where your skin is acting up and you don’t know how to satisfy it, I suggest the ESPA line (and a trip to the Mandarin Oriental is always a nice treat too).
