On a girls-get-together weekend this past weekend in NYC with friends from London, Toronto, Montreal and New York, I discovered the ultimate “of the moment” country-crossing outfit.  It goes a little something like this:

skinny jeans- mostly black, but now more juicy pop colours are coming out

t-shirt- longer and with some sort of fun graphic

boyfriend cardigan- long with pockets in the front in a button v-neck style

flat shoes- usually a ballet flat or a ankle wrap around sandal 

a big colourful scarf- this is were your print comes in so make it loud!

medium sized leather handbag- to hang nonchalantly on your forearm

last, but not least… oversized sunglasses- the icing on the cake

So, if you are stuck in front of your closet or packing for a trip to ANYWHERE this is your go-to outfit.  It crosses all the borders and can be adjusted with lighter weight and coloured fabrics as the temps bring us into summer.
